JOB DESCIPTIONS

 

Senior Network Engineer

Oversees the network, provides technical assistance in the technical design and development of the network.  Provides input into the strategic/operational planning process.  Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's LAN server and workstations. Acts as primary organizational interface with vendor and provides internal analysis and support. Manages performance of a multiple hardware and software platform interface at the most complex level. Manages the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the organization's local area networks and wide area networks. Analyzes products and recommends use of new products. Manages LAN/WAN performance and security. Establishes and implements policies and procedures for LAN/WAN usage throughout the organization.

 

Network Engineer/Administrator

Installs, configures and upgrades network software and hardware.  Maintains and monitors network performance.  Provides preventative maintenance, troubleshoots and resolves hardware/software problems.  Monitors reliability of network infrastructure and operating systems on multiple platforms, and responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems. Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's LAN server and workstations. Manages performance and maintains security of LANS.

 

Technician

Prepares deck setup for job processing on computer systems, networks, and telecommunications.  Operates electronic conversion and processing equipment including peripheral devices, and performs operational diagnostics and preventative maintenance checks of system hardware and software.   Maintains program library, operation scheduling, and utilization records of equipment (system) usage. Performs other duties, at this job level, as assigned.

 

Construction Consultant

Work as an agent for the owner to oversee all facets of a construction project, these duties includes direct interface with all professional entities as they relate to construction of a complex.

 

Electrical Engineer

Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.  Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.  Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.  Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.  Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.  Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.  Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations.  Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.  Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.  Collect data relating to commercial and residential development, population, and power system interconnection to determine operating efficiency of electrical systems

 

 Mechanical Engineer

Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components and systems.  Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.  Design test control apparatus and equipment and develop procedures for testing products.  Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operating condition effects, possible new applications and necessity of modification.  Establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule, and supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.  Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.  Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.  Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.  Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.  Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.

 

Designer

Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type. Use computer software to generate new images. Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer. Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed. Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites. Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients and/or supervisors and making necessary changes.

 

Drafter

Compare logic element configuration on display screen with engineering schematics and calculate figures to convert, redesign, and modify element. Consult with engineers to discuss and interpret design concepts, and determine requirements of detailed working drawings. Draft detail and assembly drawings of design components, circuitry and printed circuit boards, using computer-assisted equipment or standard drafting techniques and devices. Examine electronic schematics and supporting documents to develop, compute, and verify specifications for drafting data, such as configuration of parts, dimensions, and tolerances. Key and program specified commands and engineering specifications into computer system to change functions and test final layout. Plot electrical test points on layout sheets, and draw schematics for wiring test fixture heads to frames. Review work orders and procedural manuals and confer with vendors and design staff to resolve problems and modify design. Copy drawings of printed circuit board fabrication, using print machine or blueprinting procedure. Generate computer tapes of final layout design to produce layered photo masks and photo plotting design onto film. Locate files relating to specified design project in database library, load program into computer, and record completed job data.

 

 

Professional Development Business Consultant

Review forms and reports, and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements. Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assure compliance with program. Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used. Prepare manuals and train workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy. Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes of forms and reports. Recommend purchase of storage equipment, and design area layout to locate equipment in space available. Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis. Gather and organize information on problems or procedures. Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding. Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.

 

 

Senior Quality Analysts

Analyze information processing or computation needs and plan and design computer systems, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling and information engineering. Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment. Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address. Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs. Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system. Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Interview or survey workers, observe job performance and/or perform the job in order to determine what information is processed and how it is processed. Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. Recommend new equipment or software packages.

 

HW / SW System Analysts

Analyze user needs and recommend appropriate hardware. Build, test and modify product prototypes, using working models or theoretical models constructed using computer simulation. Confer with engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Design and develop computer hardware and support peripherals, including central processing units (CPUs), support logic, microprocessors, custom integrated circuits, and printers and disk drives.  Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine hardware configuration.  Monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.  Specify power supply requirements and configuration, drawing on system performance expectations and design specifications. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.Test and verify hardware and support peripherals to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, analyzing and recording test data.

Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Confer with data processing and project managers to obtain information on limitations and capabilities for data processing projects. Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems. Coordinate installation of software system. Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures. Direct software programming and development of documentation. *TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Charges for services shall encompass applied labor at the specified hourly rate plus charges associated with shift differentials, overtime premiums, travel time, and reimbursement of travel expense, per diem allowance and cost of temporary lodging.

1. The Service Order shall be executed setting forth the job specifications in sufficient detail to adequately identify the scope and probable duration of the project.

2. The job classification of personnel assigned to the project shall be consistent with the needs of the customer and shall conform to the duties and responsibilities normally associated with that job classification.

3. Non-Standard Work Hours (Shift Differential) All levels: In the event the customer requires any portion of the scheduled eight (8) consecutive hours to be within the hours set forth below (during the normal work week), the application rates shall be increased by the percentages shown:

4. Overtime

Based upon mutual agreement overtime work (work beyond the eight (8) consecutive hours and work performed beyond the normal work week and on holidays) may be performed. Such work will be billed in accordance with the following:

a. Job Level Personnel: the standard rate plus 15% of the hourly rate for work in excess of eight (8) hours per work shift and for the excess over five consecutive work days. The seventh consecutive day of work and holidays are charged at the standard rate plus 50% of the hourly rate.

b. All Other Categories: The standard Volume I rates apply for all overtime worked

 

5. Charges for Travel Expenses

Airline tickets, per diem, mileage and hotel expenses, if any, will be charged in accordance with the current established CandCNET Associates, Inc. policies.

 

6. Local Travel Time

No charge will be made for the first hour of local travel time to and from the customer's location, any additional travel time will be charged to the customer as part of the services rendered.
